Ticket Printers and Ticket Stock

Ticket Printers:

We recommend that you purchase one or rent one from http://www.worldwideticketcraft.com. The price to purchase a ticket printer is around $1000 and will go down with volume. If you plan to purchase a ticket printer you can do it quickly online or call to discuss your options with a sales rep. WWTC has people assigned to regions so it might be good for you to just call and get hooked up with someone in your region.

Please be aware that we do not make any money from referring people to WWTC. We recommend them because the ticket printers come highly recommended and they’re relatively affordable compared to the competition. You may select to use another ticket printer if you desire.

After you have the printer they can help you get it setup and configured. We do not support or configure printers for you. There is a little bit of software and setup involved but nothing too difficult. They send pretty detailed instructions so it shouldn’t be a problem but if the ticket printer doesn’t seem to print right just give them a call and they can help you make adjustments if needed. We’ve used the Desktop 2 model recently and it’s a nice compact version and seems to work really well.

Ticket Stock:

Regarding ticket stock, you have many options. But he most important thing is that you purchase ticket stock that is 5 inches x 2 inches in size with a 1.5 inch stub. A sample ticket is provided below. Other than that you can get plan ol’ generic ticket stock of various colors or at the other end of the spectrum WWTC can print custom ticket stock for you. It must be the correct size though and work with their ticket printers. I would recommend talking with a rep about your options.
